Beverly Mackereth
Bev Mackereth has intricate knowledge of government from her years of experience in both state and local government. Bev brings with her decades of experience focused specifically in the health and human services space from her work as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, the largest human service agency in the country with over 16,000 employees and a budget of over $32 billion, to her eight years serving as a member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
Bev also served York County as the Executive Director of the Healthy York County Coalition, Deputy Director of the Governor’s Community Partnership for Safe Children, Director of Special Programs for the county District Attorney’s Office and as a supervisor and caseworker in York County Children and Youth Services.
Bev resides in York County PA and serves her community on many local boards and commissions. Ms. Mackereth has served on the Health and Human Services Transition Teams for Republican Governor Tom Corbett and Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro.
